What an observer can and can't do
Under the company Playbook, you may bring another Breeze team member to an investigative or reliability meeting. That person is a silent observer.
Your observer can
- Talk with you before the meeting so you go in prepared
- Sit with you and take notes on what is said
- Debrief with you afterward and help you figure out next steps
Your observer can't
- Speak for you, ask questions, or object during the meeting
- Stop the meeting or change its outcome
- Give legal advice — observers are fellow flight attendants, not lawyers
Worth knowing before you go
- You're owed 0.5 flight hours of pay credit for a mandatory investigative meeting. Check that it shows up.
- You can ask what the meeting is about beforehand, and ask for a written copy of any corrective action.
- Answer what's asked, briefly and truthfully. It's fine to say "I don't recall" when you don't.
